Refund policy
We have a 30-day Returns & Refunds policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request a return or refund.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items (Our Responsibility)
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if your item is:

Damaged in transit,

Defective / has a manufacturing defect, or
-
The wrong item.
If confirmed, we will make it right at no cost to you. This typically includes:

A free return shipping label (if a return is needed), and

Either a replacement will be shipped out or a full refund.
No restocking fees apply for shipping damage, manufacturing defects, or incorrect items.
Customer Remorse Returns (Customer Responsibility)
If you would like to return an item for reasons other than shipping damage, a manufacturing defect, or receiving the wrong item (for example: you don't like it, it doesn't fit your space, or you no longer want it), the return may be accepted under these conditions:

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

The item must meet the eligibility requirements listed above.
Refused Deliveries: If you decline delivery after an item has shipped, it will be treated as a customer remorse return, and you will be responsible for the 25% restocking fee (and any applicable return shipping costs).
How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at support@modesthut.com. If your return is accepted, we'll provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on:

gift cards.

Refunds
We will notify you once we've reviewed your return request and let you know if it's approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method (minus any applicable restocking fee and/or return shipping costs for customer remorse returns). Please allow time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
